Mark Davis is retiring after 45 years (!!) of service to Tarleton.  Mark Davis is the founder of the BFA program in Art at Tarleton, and his presence will be missed by all of those who have ever taken a class or have graced the hallways of the art program here.  His friend and artist Bob Wade suggested to Mark that they have an exhibition during the final weeks of his tenure at Tarleton, and from those conversations comes the exhibition Friends for Forty.  There will be a reception on Wednesday May 4th from 4-6pm in the gallery that will double as a retirement party for Mark.  We expect to see many of his former colleagues and students there.  The event is open and free to the public.
