Visiting Artist Lecture: Aleks Slota: Thursday, October 23rd, at noon, room 103


Aleks Slota is an interdisciplinary artist based out of Germany. He works in performance art, photography, sound, video, and installation. His work reflects an interest in the absurd, the interaction of fantasy and reality, and the meaning of public/private space. Slota’s recent work focuses on performance, primarily in public spaces.

What It Means To Be Us is currently on display in the Tarleton Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Gallery through November 7th. He will be presenting his work to the public in the Workshop Theater at noon as part of the Art/Digital Media lecture series. – his art page his photography page
